Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Showroom Sales Specialist to join our team at our Midland TX Boutique! This position is represented on the showroom floor with a focus on in-house design, high end sales and brand ambassador services. The position requires creativity and is ideal for those with a decorative eye and a passion for people. The ideal candidate will represent Audacious Designs with integrity and poise in both professional and personal conduct.

Essential Functions

Perform Store Operations

  • Perform POS transactions with accuracy

  • Meets individual and company KPIs

  • Continued education of company policies and procedures

  • Cultivate new and existing customer relationships, building loyalty and repeat business

  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features, benefits, and trends

  • Implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising

  • Maintain store maintenance and cleanliness standards

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Participates and assists in preparation and execution of store inventory; follow loss prevention policy

  • Reports to work as scheduled and remains flexible to the needs of the business; follow store opening and closing procedures



Deliver Excellence

  • Knowledge to assess customers' design desires and understand design style and needs

  • Provide a memorable and personalized customer experience by exceeding expectations through service and hospitality

  • Contribute to an ongoing positive work and learning environment with a professional and team oriented mindset

  • Greet customers upon arrival and serve customers throughout the entire shopping experience

  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers during all circumstances

  • Represents the brand by adhering to appropriate standards of dress and grooming

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor and stockroom for at least 6 hours per shift.

  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and following safety policy

  • Must be available to work at least 30 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

  • Ability to operate a POS system, conduct purchase transactions without error, and handle cash

  • Ability to perform tasks which could require prolonged standing, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail or home furnishing industry

  • Proficient with current technology i.e. iPads and Mac laptops

  • Self motivated and willingness to learn

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Adheres to company culture and objectives

  • Creative and adaptable

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
